Wow, so much to say, first, an overheard conversation at McDonalds:

kid: I am glad we can get apples here now
Mom: you know McDonalds were not like this when I was your age
kid: They didn't have McDonalds when you were little

While riding the bumper cars at the fair tonight, I ran into a kid and obviously he did not approve as he exclaimed "you evil bitch"

My cat had fleas, only I thought they were just bugs that thought a kitty was a warm cozy place to live. She had them for at least 2 weeks before I realized what they were. They are dead now. I feel like a total idiot.

You will never believe what I did today. I watched a bootleg copy of a movie. First of all, I can't believe that anyone bought this copy. Secondly, I can't believe that they brought it for other people to watch. There were moments in the movie where there were heads completely blocking the movie (damn those movie pee-ers). The only good thing that I can say is that I had the sense to not watch the whole movie.

In other news, I finished Dead Like Me season 2 today. If you have not watched this tv show, then you are totally missing out. You should rent it now. Also, I have almost finished copying my thesis data to cd. It is about time I erased the data from my hard drive. It is hogging up way too much space. And so, as there is nothing interesting in my life, I must away.

Attention, I hate spam. So that is why I took drastic measures and instituted word verification for comments. Sorry, I know they suck, but so does spam.

Also, I would like to say I am sorry for the post on mac and mayo. I know, it was painful to read. I suck as a writer. I will try to keep that kind of thing from happening again. Some stories are best left untold.

Additionally, I would like to tell you that my eve costume will NOT look like this.

Thank you and good night.

Well, Halloween is almost upon us, and I actually think I have an event to go to. At any rate, I am going to make my costume anyway. I am going to be Eve. As in Adam and Eve. Only there will be no Adam. Jonathan claims that a fig leaf will just not cover him properly, we argued over the point, but in the end he won. So, I will be going solo. This weekend, while I am locked up giving blood for money, I will be cutting out fig leaves.

Last weekend, my department put on a picnic before the "BIG" Duke football game. It was catered by the Q-Shack and since I was at work anyway, so why not? I went and being that my our lab is no where near the rest of the department, I knew no one. But there was this couple that sat across from me and she complained about her husband having only gotten meat. Then she asked him why he did not get anything else and he mumbled something then she offered him some of her mac and cheese and he said, that's not mac-n-cheese, that's mac-n-mayonnaise. So she looked at me and sighed "mac-n-mayonnaise" and then rolled her eyes. (As if she has never been to a bbq before, that is normally what they have you know, but that is what makes the Q-Shack so special.) Poor man, I bet he never gets to make a decision.

Later, one of her friends brought her husband/sig. other who obviously is from Spain and is not 100% comfortable with his English. So, she had them sit next to us too and told her husband, he does not know English, you should talk to him and then to the other guy, my husband speaks Spanish you should talk to him. They guys looked at each other and smiled uncomfortably and that was it. The Spanish guy spoke English with his girl just fine and the other guy avoided reason for his wife to make an ass of herself again.
