I am totally in arts and crafts overload these days. I am making a pillow with an embroidered VW bug on it for father's day (yes, I know father's day was last Sunday, but since my dad is out of town until Friday, I have a grace period of approximately one week). The only bad part about being all late and stuff is that I won't be able to find a father's day card in the store. For mother's day, I got a sunflower thank you card that just said "thank you" in the inside and added the words, "for being such a great mom" (it was purchased after mother's day) so, I am thinking of doing this again for father's day. Greeting card companies should totally keep an out of date section for procrastinators like me.

Also, I learned how to felt (where you take wool and knit it up and then wash it in hot water and then it looks like felt) and found directions to make this cool felted bag and I am totally going to make it.

And, I have become obsessed with craftster. I visit it every day and usually every night. In fact, that is what I am going to do next.

I hung a poster (a movie poster for "Secretary"- now I can gaze longingly at Maggie Gyllenhaal every night) on my wall on Sunday. It is the first decoration that put up in my room and I have been here for a LONG time. I bought two pieces of steel at Lowes, some mirror clips, screws and magnets. I screwed the mirror clips on the wall (two per piece of steel) and then put the steel in them. I put one 40" higher than the other (the length of my poster) and then hung the poster on it with magnets. It totally looks cool and I would totally show you a picture of it, but alas, I am without digital camera. And alas, I am without scanner. So, there is nothing that I can really do to let you see its greatness. But just take my word for it. Also, I got a glass shelf for my IWG figures and I am going to bid on some trees for my Maule Bear and Friend's figure display and I will hang them all just as soon as I find a stud. Actually, two.

This weekend, I was thinking, I should start an ebay scam. You know, list things that people want, or don't want, and then start the bidding at 1cent. Then, the people will buy but then I will hit them with $20 s&h. Boy, you got to love the handling. So, what do you think? At any rate, don't steal my idea. Because it is mine and noone elses.

When I was driving, I saw this car with two bumper stickers, one was for W in '04 and the other was for an honor student that obviously belonged to the driver of the car. And that got me thinking, are the same people that voted for W the same people that feel this intense need to brag about their smart kids to all the world? Well, I think that explains some things about our society.

Hi blog. I have returned from San Francisco. But I want to move there. It really is one of the greatest cities ever. So, here are the great things that happened to me while I was there. I bought a dress to wear to a wedding. I got to see penguins being fed. I bought the last toy in my Mountain Mountain collection, at Kid Robot no less. I went to American Apparel and restrained myself and only left with 3 shirts. I ate yummy Mexican, Italian, American and Indian food. I went to trivia night at a bar and my team came in 2nd. We lost by only 1 pt. And I actually answered 2 question before anyone else. (I suck at trivia.)

Then, after returning home, I decided to try out Hi5's new Kobe beef burgers. (They are half price on Wednesdays.) And while they are tastey, I guess that I don't think that they are all that. And besides, I think that they have hired some brand new ditzes. We were looking at the menu at the appetizer section and she come up to us and says, "That Teamwork section (what they call their appetizers) can either be used as appetizers or you can order several and use them as American style tapas." Now, who exactly needs to be told how they can order their dinner?

Things at home are good. Except the laundry. I really hate the laundry and I am going out of town again shortly (in like 2 hours) so I am trying to get all done before I have to leave again. Don't think it is going to happen, but I can still dream.
