I bet that you don't know this but at the Durham Bull's games, when the batters come up to bat, they get a special song played for them. One of the players always gets Cotton Eye Joe and I would tell you some of the others, but I don't remember them. Anyway, it got me thinking about what song I would pick if I were a baseball player. And I decided that it would be Seven Nation Army. I mean, think about the intro. How great would that be? Du...du-du-du-du-du...du, du...du-du-du-du-du...du. It would get everyone pumped up and they would be cheering: "Allgood! Allgood!" And then I would hit a home run (my batting average would probably be .415) and win the game.

Anyway, in the real world, there are actual Durham Bulls games to go to. One on Friday the 9th and one again on Friday the 16th. So, Jonathan and I will be going to one of those. I think that you should too. If you have a preference, let me know. I can just get us all tickets and then you can pay me back. So let me know!!

Durham, it really is the coolest place to live. Where else to you walk out your door and see people driving by on their bike with a boom box blaring?

In Durham, there is also Duke. If you ever get ill, you should come here for treatment. I saw them filming a video (probably touting the greatness that is Duke) today and let me tell you, I am convinced that Duke is the best. I mean, the woman with the fake baby in the wheelchair being pushed and the "dad" with the flowers. It was just the sweetest scene ever. The best part was how many times they had to leave the hospital. And then, between takes, the fake baby must have been glad that he was fake. Let's just say that child services should have been called in.
