Xenopus: frogs that are stitched together

Ok, here is the deal. We will be having the Christmas Special-A-Thon this Friday night at 7:30 at Jonathan and Matt's house. There will be Christmas Specials, pies and hot beverages. If you want anything else, then bring it. Also, if you have anything that you think we should watch, bring it as well.

I have a Christmas tree. It involved me picking it out and taking it home. And then, the fun began. I had to get it out of my car, which was quite awkward being that I don't have a large car or anything. Then, when I put it in the stand, it would not go down to the bottom so I had to get out my saw (Hooray for power tools!!) and take off the bottom limbs and then it still did not fit right, but I tried to tighten up the tree in the stand anyway, but of course that did not work, so I had to take it off and then take off more limbs, but now, it is perfect. I even have presents to put under it, but I will wait to decorate it til tomorrow so that gravity can pull the branches down.

Oh, and everyone should know that the Christmas Special-A-Thon is definitely going to happen on Friday, details to still come later, but the exciting part is that I rented a Garfield Christmas Special. So, we have that to watch too. Man, I can't wait. I so love everything Christmas.

So, I think that we will have a Christmas special-a-thon this Friday night if people are available. Details to come later, but let me know if you are interested. I am thinking of having Christmas beverages (apple cider and hot chocolate and possibly egg nog) and a pie of some sort. I will let you know specifics when they come available. But let me know if you would be interested and if you think that you can come.

Right now, this very moment, I am squirming in my seat and exclaiming "Yea!!" Why you may ask? Well, you see, it is December and well, I love Christmas and all things Christmas. And my most favorite part of Christmas is on tv right now. Yes, my favorite Christmas special of all time "Santa Clause is Coming to Town" is on my tv right now. The strange thing is, I own it on DVD (so anyone who missed it, just let me know and we can watch it together) but for some reason, it is just exciting for it to be on tv. I guess this way I know that people all across the world (ok, maybe that is an exaggeration but I am REALLY excited so I don't care) are watching it at the same time as me and are getting to share in the greatness that is the show.

Ok, the commercial is over, I have to go. But really, I own several Christmas specials, so if anyone wants to have a Christmas Special-a-thon just let me know.

PS: I am totally getting a Christmas tree next week. Will the excitement ever end?
